so, my mom and athey were here this weekend. we had a really good time. they gave me my winter solstice present of helping me to do my garden. it's a start, and it's going to be so pretty! we got lots of plants, including a butterfly bush and lamb's ear and lavendar and some little blue flower and begonias and a centerpiece plant with lots of plants and two confederate jasmine and maybe that's all. athey washed the deck, so now i can paint it. i put together the arbor we got, and put the rose next to it. i have the perfect place picked out for a fountain now.
hmmm...tomorrow i need to go grocery shopping, and i just hope i can afford to get everything i want for the meal and desserts i intend to fix. if not i'll have to change my plans some.
i don't think there's much else to say for the time being. dave and i might go to the movies tonight. that would be fun. of course now it might be too late, but hopefully we'll start going soon or else we'll fall hopelessly behind.
