Apr. 28th, 2003 11:54 amso, my great aunt died and i shall be going to her funeral on thursday. although they are doing a viewing beforehand and i'm not sure how i feel about that. but i think daddy will be pleased if i go, even though i was not that close to her.
am i a bad person? he made the subject of his email "sad news" and i thought something had happened to his dog, and got really upset. so i was relieved when it was 'just fran'....
anyway, that means that after i go to asheville for the funeral i will drive to columbia afterwards and stay there for a few days, just a day earlier than planned.
and then i'll come back here and it will be my busy week of fun-ness!!!! covenant, the cramps, and the opera. and my mom coming to visit. maybe athey too.
okay, i need to start cleaning my house because now i have lost a day.
oh, and i'm giving a massage tomorrow, too! so that's very good. i hope she doesn't get called in and have to cancel.

Like anyone confronted with the harshness of robbery on the high seas, you can be pessimistic at times. You tend to blend into the background occaisionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr!

bellwitch is coming over to cut dave's hair.
not much else is going on. i have cleaned some. still a lot more to do. i don't think i'm going to have to take my aunt to the funeral, so there is less stress about cleaning out my car, although i would like to clean it out.
hmmm...my mom was telling me about a short course on how to write a children's book. i think that would be fun. even though the children's books i want to write are really children's books for adults, like an illustrated version of 'the yellow wallpaper' and my dead children book starring samantha. so i don't know if i can really write a children's book. except maybe something halloweenie or about dogs. or both...
anyway, i'm going to go take my vitamins and eat something because i am about to eat my own arm....
