May. 2nd, 2003 10:11 amokay...so the funeral was actually not bad. they told lots of funny stories about fran. the viewing was not too bad either, although i felt like there was another person in the room, and kept waiting for her to sit up and say something.
and it was nice to see the family. although i prefer my mom's family.
the drive was kind of stressful both ways. driving around greenville on 85 is really scary. and then when i was in the mountains it poured rain, which was less than fun as well.
however, i saw a rainbow on the way to columbia, which almost made it worthwhile. and the mountains were beautiful...so green they were practically chartreuse. and i did see a field of chartreuse flowers.
okay, i guess that's all for now. i don't seem to have any plans for this weekend.
except reading and crocheting and writing. and sleeping. and doing a few massages, although it appears they will all be in family.
oh, and i'll go squish sterling some. because he's just the best wiggly little monster ever! sprite and phoebe don't count because they are not little or monsters...
