Jun. 16th, 2003 01:21 pmso....i got back from my trip to north carolina a day later than intended. this is par for the course. so if you ever hear of me taking a driving trip somewhere, and i say, 'i'll be back in _ days...' just add a +1 to the number in the blank. especially when it involves my mom.
anyway, i had a pretty good time on the trip. my mom and i got a lot planned on the book, which was exciting. it's going to be great!
then yesterday
bellwitch and i hung out. we went to the olive garden, had a bad waiter, went to the mall, and went to see 'finding nemo.' so why is it that in every disney movie the mom is dead or dies? that really bugs me. the movie was okay, but it wasn't fantabulous or anything. it had some good moments. i told dave i didn't think he'd like it much. he said, 'well, i figure that when we have kids i'll be seeing all these movies, and don't want to have to sit through them more than once, i guess...'
heehee....
anyway, that is about all that is going on in my life. i just finished reading the fourth kate martinelli by laurie king. i recommend laurie king. she's a really good writer, and both of her series are excellent. even though i thought i would hate the mary russell series (which has sherlock holmes in it), but she really pulls it off.
okay. i guess i need to do something productive....
