(no subject)

hmmm..i didn't have any coffee yesterday so have been headachey today even with coffee. and i'm having afghan issues, because the pattern said i would need only one skein of purple for the violets i'm making, and there is no way in hell that is enough...even when crocheting with a hook one size down from what's in the pattern. and my gauge on the rest of the afghan isn't off, so i don't know what they were thinking. so, i went to michael's to get another skein of the same purple, and wouldn't you know they're out of that color. so, i am going to use a different shade of purple, of which i have over 5 oz. so i know there will be enough...
anyway, that sets me back a bit because i'm having to start the violets over. oh well. maybe my mom will want them. she said she might need some violets for something.
anyway. tonight dave and i are planning to go the masquerade, so he's not going to install the water heater until tomorrow. which is fine.
i don't think anything else is going on right now...
