okay, so heather from work and i drove back to atlanta last night. i slept really late today, which is great. she is taking some people to the airport and then we are going to the escher exhibit at the skot foreman gallery. i also have to go to the stupid mall today because williams sonoma gave my mom the wrong hand lotion. they'd better have the kind she wants, too, or heads will roll. i also need to go to target or somewhere to get pirates. and i need to do a bunch of laundry.
i wonder if i could go out to the mall right now while heather's driving her friends to the airport. maybe if i hurry...

(no subject)

okay, so am i good or what? i got to and from the mall and stopped at kmart on the way home in less than an hour!
and i exchanged the hand lotion and bought some for myself at william sonoma, and then stopped by the mac counter at nordstrom and got some lipstick...to replace the tube i lost at jeannine's wedding.
then i looked at pirates at kmart, but i'm not paying that much for it when i know i can get it for less at target.
now i'm waiting for heather to call.
and i called working assets to tell them about my double billing, and they are taking care of it, they say in 2-3 working days it will be taken care of. i think it should be done earlier. and what if i had bounced a check or something? i would want them to cover those fees as well.
anyway.
i really should go make some coffee or something.
i hope heather hurries up and calls because i don't like waiting around for things.

pirates!!!!!

i got pirates. it was only $14.99 at target. yay for target!!!
i also went to the escher exhibit at the skot foreman gallery. it runs through the 31st, it's free, and i highly recommend it. next month they're going to do a pop art exhibit.
anyway, the owner is very friendly, and it's a really neat little gallery.
then heather and i went to son's place because she'd never been, and even though she said she wanted to eat somewhere like piccadilly, i thought son's place would be better. so that was fun.
then after she dropped me off at home, i went to target and then kroger. now i have a really bad headache, i thinkb because i didn't have my morning coffee...oh well.
then i called my mom and athey answered the phone, even though she was on the other line with her friend amy. apparently one of our cleaners (my coworkers) got a rag stuck in the toilet. i don't really know what a rag was doing in the toilet, since we clean them with scrubbies, but athey said she (cleaner) wasn't paying attention and flushed when there was a rag in there. so they are expecting a call from the plumber.
anyway. i think i'm going to go lie down for a bit and take some aleve and drink some water and hope that my headache goes away.
oh, and they have the ben stiller show out on dvd now, all 13 episodes. so i think that would be a good present for dave.

Okay, since I've filled out a couple of people's holiday card polls, I've created one for you guys so I can return the favor. I make my own cards, only this year I'm just going to draw one twice and then make copies of it since the year I drew them all by hand using my own stencil, it was way into January by the time I finished. I will also include my news letter for the year, about all the fun stuff going on in Dave and my lives. And the dogs, of course.
