rikki5050 and tygerlilly for coffee at the barnes and noble cafe. they didn't have my calendar, those fuckers! but i did get an origami calendar, the charles addams collection book, and a book about scotland yard with an illustrated cover by edward gorey. everything was 50% off. damn it about the calendar, though!!! i went to chapter 11 and they didn't have it either, but i got the new griffen and sabine book. and in between we went to the container store where i got blanket bags to use as under the bed storage.
it was a lot of fun.
and tygerlilly is from columbia. how weird is that? anyway, it was a lot of fun and i'm in a MUCH better mood now that i'm hypercaffeinated and socialized a little bit. so now i need to do more laundry. i got letters from my dad and from my mom's high school friend. my dad says there is a present from my aunt. too bad it's not lots and lots of money. she has a lot to spare, but i know i'm not going to get money from her. why is it that when i NEED money, i never get it as a present?
oh well. time to clean up some more and do some more laundry. the end is in sight for the massive amount of laundry i have to do!
i was going to leave a note for dave in case i was gone when he got back that said, 'don't worry--i'm rearranging, not moving out!' but i didn't. and of course he's not home yet.
