so, i woke up really early. i wanted to watch the venus/sun thing, but it was cloudy. and by the time i turned on the nasa channel (yes, sometime overnight we got our cable back), it was already over. dave watched it on the news tonight.
then i drove to columbia and worked. after work my boss and i went to see "harry potter." i really liked it, and so did she, although i think they left a lot out that would cause confusion if you haven't read the books. anyway, i liked it a lot.
and i got a really nice letter from dave's mom, which made me cry a little. they are very excited, and she was very nice. she also sent a nice card to my mom. i imagine she would have written to my dad as well if she'd had the address.
anyway, i'm glad i have nice future in-laws.
okay, i need to go to bed because it's really late and i don't want to oversleep like i did last wednesday.
oh, and [livejournal.com profile] harry_nushi, thank you for the advice about adding vanilla--i just added more sugar and think i'll use it as a concentrate, but vanilla sounds good, and also thanks for letting me know about the sci fi miniseries...now i know what i'll be doing this weekend! :P
other than that, i don't really have any news. david was online a bunch today. blah. maybe i'll be able to have dinner with [livejournal.com profile] tygerlilly sometime this week, i hope, but we're having another work meeting this week, since last week we ended up dealing with the flooded basement.
okay, goodnight.
xoxo

hmm....we are going to have a meeting at work. afterwards i'm going to go to the library because my books are all overdue, and i want to renew some and return others and get more.
i talked to my mom. they went to see "harry potter" too! of course, they saw it in london, so i'm jealous. my mom says i have to come with them next time. i sure hope so.
i'm sleepy. i don't want to go to the meeting, but i have to. it probably won't be too bad, as long as it doesn't run too long. and at least it's not de-flooding a basement!!!
okay, all for now.

and...if there is anyone who reads me who would like their house cleaned, or who knows someone who would, I am available, and really really want to start cleaning houses in atlanta. i use mostly green products, and incorporate some aromatherapy with the vacuum cleaner, which is a really cool vacuum, and my rates are reasonable. and, i don't charge a ton of money extra for an intial cleaning. i charge by the hour as well, not the job.
