hmmm...i woke up much earlier than i wanted to. and so far on lj have found two things that rather irritated me. first was a post in customers suck which linked to a post in mock the stupid, in which the poster went into a restaurant at 8:45 and complained because the hostess refused to seat them until the manager got involved. everyone flamed her for going into the restaurant 15 minutes before closing. i say, where do you draw the line? because no matter what time you close, someone is always going to come in 15 miunutes before closing (unless you are only open for five minutes). if you want to stop serving people before closing time, there should be a posted time at which you stop serving.
then, someone posted a link to a(kind of sappy) inspirational story in the feminist community, and about half of the comments say things like, "that story just totally buys into stereotypes!" lighten up, people!
maybe i need to have some coffee or something and get in a better mood...
