Aug. 9th, 2004 09:33 amso, i stayed up incredibly late last night and then got woken up very early by dave's coffee maker and, later on, the dogs...so i guess i'm going to be something of a zombie today.
i haven't been very posty lately. it's too much of a pain in the ass at my mom's because the computer is so slow, and also most of the time david is online. i can't wait to be back in atlanta full time.
then here in atlanta, dave's computer has been messed up. it's mostly working now we think/hope. i don't think he has his printer hooked up, which sucks because i have some things to print out. it's kind of annoying not having my own computer. however, i think in the next couple of months that's going to change...at least i hope it does!
i accomplished some wedding stuff, but there are some slight irritations accompanying that. first, i ordered the bridesmaid fabric, and i think i've picked out my fabric. i ordered the fabric on thursday and it arrived friday. i don't really think i should be obligated to purchase all of the 10 yards that go along with a special order, since they had already ordered the fabric anyway. however, i think that point is probably moot since i think the bridesmaids will need 10 yards of fabric for dresses. then we reserved a block of rooms at the hotel we wanted, and they said that the special rate was $99 for single suites and $129 for doubles, but then in the letter they mailed the rates they quoted were $119 and $149...so that's annoying. and it's NOT graduation weekend, so we should be able to get the lower rate. but still for the rooms those rates are pretty good. they are two bedroom, two bathroom suites with full kitchens, living rooms, a washer and dryer, and a free american breakfast in the morning. so i think people will share rooms, like jeannine and tracy, and maybe samantha and eleanor, and i don't know...also, they comp us a honeymoon suite, which we might get for two nights and use as the hospitality suite the first night. or, use it as the last night i'm not married suite for me and my friends the first night. and also the hospitality suite.
okay, enough of the wedding stuff...
i'm going to go back to bed, i think...
