okay...so i haven't really accomplished anything this weekend, other than taking the dogs to the vet. the good news is that phoebe doesn't need surgery. the bad news is she has pretty bad arthritis in both knees. her spinal/hip x-ray is really cool, though. i want it, but they have it at the vet's right now.
neither dog has heartworms, and sprite did pretty well, even though she shed all over the exam room.
i slept most of the afternoon, and am now watching "flab to fab" on vh-1 instead of "touching evil," which is what i had been planning to watch.
now i'm waiting until the show is over to go to the website so i won't spoil the surprise of seeing everyone after they're finished.
oh, and i bought champagne flutes at target yesterday. once dave gets a job i'm going to make my mimosas...i hope he gets a job soon because not only is the money important, but also i want to taste my blood orange juice.
my mom et al are leaving on thursday for europe. i wish i were going. i'm making a list of things i want. mostly cds. it has to be small stuff or stuff that can be shipped because my mom doesn't have much room.

and here's something i thought was kind of weird--i was reading a wedding book, and they said that a popular song for the father/daughter dance is "thank heaven for little girls"...which i thought was weird...
